Hi, my name is Rita Merienne.
My sister, Yvonne, and I cared for our father for four years before he passed away. We were both working and upholding family responsibilities and by the end, we were mentally, physically and emotionally exhausted.
Throughout this time, it was apparent that support for carers was limited. All we wanted was somebody to ease the way, to share their experience and help us through all the tough times.
Aged Care with Ease was born.
This is why we created Aged Care with Ease, a community designed to fill the void in aged care and help you to manage your caring responsibilities.
As I shared my messages of SNAP-ping the stress cycle, upholding boundaries and reducing overwhelm, I realised that these lessons weren’t just for carers, but could also be useful for the broader community.
Along came Reclaim You.
It was this realisation, and my passion for sharing self-development, that prompted the creation of the Reclaim You Podcast and resources. I have been receiving such amazing feedback from the Reclaim You audience and I am moved by some of the stories I hear from my listeners.
Throughout my business journey, I have tried many different strategies to connect with my audience and build relationships with the people who need my support. It was through experimenting that I discovered online summits and have had great success with this method of audience building.
Next I launched ACEing Your Summits.
Online summits are a way for business owners to genuinely connect with their community and to bring together the voices of experts, to teach, train, motivate and inspire. Due to the success I’ve achieved with online summits and the lack of information available showing others the way, I decided to create my third business venture ACEing Your Summits, through which I teach business owners how to run engaging and memorable summit experiences.
Today, I’m living with my partner, Gary, and his Mum, for whom I’m one of the primary carers – my caring journey continues. We have a little dog, Billy, who keeps me company while I work on the three areas of my business, Aged Care with Ease, Reclaim You and ACEing Your Summits.
