We Are All Different

March 2, 2016 by Rita Merienne

Each and every one of us deals with things differently. It doesn’t matter what personality assessment you like – DISC, Enneagram, 5 languages of love or any of the many other personality assessments the outcome is the same. We are all different and we approach problems, situations and problem solving differently.

Take a moment to understand women like to talk about the issues and ladies please understand our partners just want to fix things in our lives and make it right.

A little bit of understanding by everyone will go a long way!
Think back to a time when you were in a situation that was handled differently by a loved one. Were you frustrated with the way they handled it, did you get angry, did you interfere?

I know I did

There were times when I got annoyed at the way things were being done. I didn’t like the words, tone or the way it was done. I couldn’t understand how they could speak like that or do it that way.

It wasn’t until I started researching different types of personalities that I finally understood what was going on.

We put our thoughts and words into others – we expect them to act as we would. Life become easier when I understood the differences. Sure I don’t always get it and I would definitely do things differently however I do understand how we are all different and we approach things differently.

Knowing your partners personality also helps and saves a few disagreements

It is also very important when dealing with your aged loved ones – take the time to work out their personality type and when you have to deliver tough news or get them to do something they don’t like it will make it easier for you if you can speak in a way they will respond positively to.

We are all different and at we all respond differently.

Take the time to know your aged loved ones’ personality type it will help you in the long run and while you are there work out your own. Trust me it really helps you understand others and takes a lot of the “hard stuff” out of caring.
